We guide you through the design process with grace and ease so you don’t need to stress. Our process is clearly defined at the beginning of your project and we fill you in if anything changes. We make design work straightforward and enjoyable!
The Process: Step by Step
Pre-Contract
From our first call forward we set expectations and dial in all of the details of your project and scope.
Contract
Based on our Pre-Contract discussions, we write up a letter of agreement carefully documenting the project scope, estimated hours and fees
Schematic Design
We dive into inspiration and space planning to explore your style and the options for your space.
Design Development
Once we know the design direction, we get into the nitty, gritty details, finalizing floor plans, developing elevations, selecting materials and furnishings.
Documentation
After we’ve reviewed each element of the design with you and secured your approval, we document it fully. Once complete, this can be handed off to you or your contractor to bring the design to life.
Procurement
If your project requires FF&E (fixtures, furniture, and equipment) we either guide you through purchasing or handle purchasing ourselves. Then we track, receive, and inspect orders.
Construction
Meanwhile any construction needed for your project is kicking into high gear to carry the design from paper to real life.
Installation
Once construction is finished, it’s time to bring in the furniture and equipment so your space becomes as functional as it is beautiful.
Final Touches
When the base of the design is installed, our design team and vendors come to the site to style out accessories and place art. Boom! All of a sudden this space has come to life.
